NISM Series V-A certification

NISM Series V-A (Mutual Fund Distributors) is mandatory by SEBI for distributing mutual funds. Once you clear it, AMFI issues your EUIN — that's all we need to onboard you. An ARN is optional: you can be a Trustner sub-broker with or without one.

You can't distribute mutual funds without NISM 5A + EUIN. Follow the steps below to get certified. You can fill the rest of this form now and return to add your EUIN once you have it.

How to clear NISM 5A in 6 simple steps

Register on the NISM portal Go to certifications.nism.ac.in and create an account using your PAN and email. Keep your PAN card and a passport-size photo handy.
Enrol for "Series V-A: Mutual Fund Distributors" Pay the exam fee online (₹1,500 + GST). You'll get a registration confirmation by email. Use a debit/credit card or net banking — UPI also works.
Schedule the exam Pick a NISM-approved test centre near you and choose a date/time. Slots are usually available within 1–2 weeks. You can also opt for a remote-proctored online exam from home.
Study the workbook Download the free workbook PDF from your NISM dashboard. Plan ~20–25 hours of study spread over 1–2 weeks. Topics: MF basics, schemes, NAV, taxation, investor services, ethics.
Take the exam & clear it 100 multiple-choice questions, 2 hours, no negative marking. Pass mark is 50%. You get the result instantly. If you don't clear, you can re-attempt after re-registering.
Apply for ARN & EUIN with AMFI Submit your NISM certificate, KYD acknowledgement, PAN and bank proof to CAMS-KRA / AMFI. You'll receive your ARN and EUIN within 7–10 working days. EUIN is the 7-character ID we need. Once you have it, come back to this form.
